Viking Paper and Mill Co. Energy Policy

As a company that produces tissue papers and uses energy intensively;

• To carry out studies with the aim of improving energy consumption per unit of production with an effective energy management system application and to develop these projects,
• To raise awareness about energy efficiency to all employees and to ensure their participation,

Product Development and Process Improvement

Keeping a close watch on the trends in the domestic and global markets, Viking Paper carries out all its R&D activities with the understanding of "responsible production" while having its product design, development and process improvement activities in line with the needs and expectations of its customers. Viking Paper, which carries out studies in the field of R&D with a sense of responsibility towards the environment and human health, develops special and innovative products especially suitable for sensitive skins and can make contact with foods that make a difference in the sector.

Also, TÜBİTAK project is also implemented within the scope of process improvement projects.

A First in the Industry: Viking Paper, BRC and GC Mark Hygienic Certificate

Viking Paper, one of the leading companies in the cleaning paper industry, has once again documented its quality and innovative production conditions with new prestigious certificates in the international arena.

Viking Paper, whose production was determined to be of high quality, safe and in compliance with the law, after the inspections carried out by the certification bodies; has been approved with the BRC Consumer Product certificate as the first company in its sector to be awarded the A Grade level for the first time.

Thanks to the Hygienic Product GC-MARK certificate, it has been documented that HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) based risk analysis and GMP-Good Manufacturing Practices are being applied in the Viking Paper Factory.

Reliable Paper Towels Suitable for Food Contact

Viking Paper, which has achieved many firsts in the cleaning paper industry broke new ground and started to produce Turkey's first paper towels suitable for contact with food in 2012.

Premia and Lily Paper Towels were subjected to food penetration tests consisting of long and difficult processes by the German ISEGA Institute and became the owner of the certificate of suitability for food contact.

Premia and Lily Paper Towels can be used with inner peace for drying the vegetables and fruits, degreasing fries and packaging food for the children's lunchboxes.

Dermatologically Suitable Toilet Papers for All Skins

Viking Paper, which directs product development on the basis of quality and hygiene, received the dermatological conformity certificate for the most sensitive skins from the German DERMATEST Laboratories for Premia and Lily Toilet Papers in 2016. As a result of dermatological tests performed on consumers from different age groups and genders, toilet papers received an excellent passing grade and were approved by Dermatest Laboratories.

Our FSC® Policy

Viking Pulp and Paper Mill Company, audited in 2010 and became the first company to receive the FSC®-CoC Forest Management System Certificate among paper and cardboard manufacturers in Turkey.

We undertake that we will not participate directly or indirectly in any activities that are unacceptable to FSC®.
